EXPERIENCE

​

I am a qualified teacher with a PGCE, a Philosophy master's degree, and I recently completed my first year towards a Philosophy PhD.

 

I specialise in teaching GCSE and A Level Religious Studies and Philosophy across all examination boards. I began my teaching career in 2015 within a large secondary school in Coventry. I later moved to an independent school in Birmingham where my last students acquired 80% A*-B grades for A Level Religious Studies.

I now work as a full-time tutor and have continued to support a significant number of A Level and GCSE students via private tuition since 2019, with an outstanding track record in securing high grades.

APPROACH

​

I thoroughly enjoy teaching and believe the best way to promote learning is to inspire, motivate, and generate genuine interest. I have a vast bank of teaching and learning materials which I have created myself, all provided to the learner as part of the service. As well as active learning, I apply a strong focus on content, written examination techniques and assessment objectives.

 

I have been told that as a teacher I am extremely approachable, supportive and patient, with a gentle aura and genuine passion for my subject.

PRICES

​

The first lesson is free and a chance to meet and discuss how I can support the learner. A decision is then usually made on whether to commence with any future tuition (with no contract or obligation) on a pay as you go basis.

*A small travel fee may apply if I travel outside of the Warwickshire or Leicestershire area.
